My experience using backends

I have been messing with backends longer than i've been coding. Any project i've worked on with friends, I would always be the one setting up our MongoDB. I have gotten use to it and absolutely love how they offer a free tier.

when I started coding I quickly learned how important they are, especially if you use them correctly. You can learn alot really fast just by reading the Docs for them.

Another backend system I have worked with; FireBase! It is very versatile and very well rounded, AND you can upload and store images, unlike mongoDB. Does take a bit of time to secure it, since they make you create rules without any easy to access pre-sets. If you do a project, I would say learn Mongo since its harder to learn while keeping things interesting.

Just for some credibility, I won the 2026 FBLA Arizona Website coding and development (with teammates of course). BUTT I did not make our DB, I was the one who told them which one to use and they would not let me make it.
