True Blogger API is a blogging platform: you can write and read public or private blog posts, follow other users, comment, and react to posts. Every account also gets access to a REST API (/api/v1/*) to pull your own posts and engagement data into other projects, and, for Professional accounts, to create and manage posts programmatically.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, certain features are restricted or hidden for your protection — including public display of your full name, certain external profile links, and some public account details — regardless of what you set in your own account settings.

You must provide your real date of birth at registration. Misrepresenting your age to bypass these protections is a violation of these Terms and may result in suspension.

You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. You may register with two email addresses (either can be used to sign in) or through Google or GitHub. Provide accurate information — an account found to be impersonating another real person or using deliberately false identifying information may be suspended or banned.

You may change your username once. Additional changes require an administrator to grant another.

You keep ownership of everything you write. By posting content, you grant us a license to host, display, and distribute it through the Service and its API, solely so the Service can function as intended — including your own use of the API to pull your own content elsewhere.

The following are never allowed, anywhere on the Service, in a post, comment, username, or profile field:

• Obscene, profane, or sexually explicit language or imagery.
• Links, bare domains, IP addresses, or email addresses inside post content — this platform doesn't host off-site promotion.
• Mentions of restricted third-party platforms (e.g. OnlyFans, Patreon, Linktree), with or without a link.
• Content that is illegal, harassing, or that sexualizes or endangers minors.
• Uploaded images containing adult or explicit content.

We use a mix of automated screening and human review (including user reports) to enforce this policy. Automated screening can miss things, and human review is not instant — report anything you find that violates these Terms.

Posts and comments can be reported by any signed-in user. Reported content may be frozen (hidden pending review), removed outright, or lead to the author's account being suspended (temporary, time-limited) or banned (indefinite, and always requires a second reviewer's approval before it takes effect). Accounts can also be reported directly for a pattern of behavior spanning multiple posts or comments.

If your account is suspended or banned, you can file an appeal from the account-access screen shown when you try to sign in. Appeals are reviewed by a human, not automatically granted or denied.

The Service is free to use for reading and writing, without limit, forever. Professional membership ($25/year or $3/month) additionally allows creating, editing, and deleting posts through the API. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.
• Cancel anytime from Account Settings — you keep Professional access through the end of the period you already paid for, with no further charges after that.
• Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If something billed incorrectly, contact us and we'll make it right.
• Applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your location.
• Some accounts (e.g. school/cohort partnerships, or accounts with an administrative role) receive Professional access without a paid subscription, at our discretion, and it may be time-limited.

Every account may hold one read-only API key. Professional accounts may additionally hold one read+write key. Keys are personal — don't share them or use them for a service acting on someone else's behalf. API requests are rate-limited; we may throttle or revoke a key used in a way that degrades the Service for others.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To close your account and have your data deleted, contact us at truebloggersapi@gmail.com from an email address on the account — self-service deletion isn't built into the Service yet. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content moderation will catch everything. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

You provide directly: first/last name (display of which is optional and, for minors, restricted), username, up to two email addresses, a password, date of birth, an optional bio and avatar, optional social profile links, and any blog posts, comments, or reactions you create.

Collected automatically: your IP address, used briefly to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse — it is not stored as a permanent part of your profile. A single secure, encrypted session cookie keeps you signed in; we don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We receive back only a customer reference ID, subscription status, and billing dates — never your full card number.

Encryption: your email addresses and phone number (if you enable SMS login codes) are encrypted at the application level before being stored, on top of our database provider's own disk-level encryption — a stronger protection than most sites apply to this kind of data.

• To create and secure your account, and to let you sign in (including one-time codes by email or text, if enabled).
• To display your content and public profile information to other users, as you've configured it.
• To process Professional membership payments and manage your subscription.
• To enforce our content policy and respond to reports.
• To send account-related email (password resets, security codes, membership notices) — not marketing.

We don't sell your data. We share the minimum necessary information with these third-party services to run the Service:

• MongoDB Atlas — hosts our database.
• Vercel — hosts the application itself.
• Stripe — processes Professional membership payments.
• Google / GitHub — if you choose to sign in with one of these, they confirm your identity to us; we never see your password with either provider.
• Resend — delivers account-related emails (password resets, login codes), once configured.
• Twilio — delivers SMS login codes, only if you specifically enable text-message sign-in.
• Sightengine — automatically screens uploaded images for adult/explicit content before they're stored, once configured.

We may also disclose account information if legally required to (such as a valid court order). Every such access is logged internally, permanently, and cannot be altered or deleted after the fact.

The Service requires everyone to be at least 13 years old, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. Accounts belonging to users under 18 automatically receive additional protections — including hiding their full name, certain profile links, and other public details, regardless of their own settings.

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you request deletion (see Termination above), we permanently remove your account, posts, comments, reactions, follows, saved content, and API keys. A small amount of information may be retained afterward where necessary for legitimate purposes even after deletion — for example, a record that a given email was previously banned (to prevent evading a ban by re-registering), or an anonymized log of a school/cohort access grant.

You can review and update most of your information anytime from Account Settings. You can request a copy of your data or full account deletion by emailing truebloggersapi@gmail.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
